Be True to Yourself

Good Morning Boren Bears. This is your friendly Enrichment team with a few words of wisdom,

We've all been in situations where something was happening that we knew was wrong. Maybe others were being mean, or copying homework, or playing pranks. It's hard to be the one who says, "Hey this isn't right." It takes courage to speak up when something wrong is happening.

Dr. Seuss once wrote:

Today you are you, that is truer than true. There is no one alive who is Youer than You.

Staying true to yourself means doing what you know in your heart is right and not getting involved with things you know are wrong, no matter how hard it is to walk away. /And if you're ever confused about what's right and what's wrong, you can ask an adult you trust-a parent, caregiver, or teacher.

The more you understand what kind of person you want to be, the easier it will be to make the right choices along the way.

With something to think about, this is your friendly Enrichment team. Make it a great day... or not. The choice is yours.
