Social Emotional Learning (Nov. 30th)

Good Morning Boren Bears. This is your friendly Enrichment team with a few words of wisdom.

It is so easy to put things off, whether it's doing our homework or doing a chore at home. There's a big word for putting off a job we need to do. It's called procrastinating, which means putting something off until later. Do you ever procrastinate? Most people do.

Many wise people have said

Don't put off for tomorrow what you can do today.

Why? Because when we put off things, we worry that we haven't done it. We feel stressed out just thinking about what might happen because we haven't done what we know we should have. We're never too young to learn how good it feels when we get our chores and schoolwork done in a timely way.

So next time you are tempted to procrastinate, think about how good it will feel to finish the job and then relax and enjoy some fun.

With something to think about, this is your friendly Enrichment team. Make it a great day...or not. The Choice is yours.
