Registration Information

Enrollment for students takes place online through Skyward (MISD’s web-based enrollment system) or in person at your student’s campus.

New Student Enrollment

Enrollment for new students for the 2026–27 school year begins on May 1, 2026.

This applies to students who:

Are new to Mansfield ISD
Were not enrolled in an MISD school on the last day of the previous school year

Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten enrollment also begins on April 1, 2026.

Returning Student Registration

Returning student registration for the 2026–27 school year begins in July 2026.

Current MISD families will receive an email when registration officially opens.

Proof of Residency for Returning Students

MISD is currently accepting Proof of Residency documents for returning students. Documents must have service dates in May or later.

All families with returning students in MISD must review the 2026–27 Proof of Residency Enrollment Information and complete one of the following:

Bring proof of residency to the student’s campus during office hours, or
Email proof of residency to the student’s 2026–27 campus email address

Please include:

Student’s first and last name
Student ID number

School Supply Information

View the 2026–27 School Supply List to see what your student will need for the upcoming school year.

To make shopping easier, families may order prepackaged school supply kits through Sprout School Supplies. Kits will be delivered directly to your student’s classroom before the first day of school.

Meet the Teacher
Parents and students will have the opportunity to meet their teacher on August 10, 2026, from 5:00–6:30 PM.

Class List Information
Class lists will be released on August 10, 2026. Teachers will contact families to welcome students to their classroom.

Bus Rider Smart Tag Information
Families are encouraged to sign up for Smart Tag to help track students while they travel to and from school. Additional information can be found on the MISD Transportation Page.

First Day of School
The first day of school is August 12, 2026, and we are excited to have students back on campus!

School doors open at 7:30 AM
Classes begin promptly at 8:00 AM

If you plan to walk your student to class on the first day, please allow extra time to check in through the front office.

All visitors must present a valid state-issued or government-issued ID in order to receive a visitor badge.
